Since our Club's charter in 1956, helping our local community has always been at the forefront of our Club's vision. Whether it be the Rural Fire Service, local Lifesaving Clubs, Scouting and Girl Guide groups, the Moruya Amateur Swimming Club and local schools, we are there to offer help either financially or hands on projects.
Creating Quarry & Chesher Parks for all the community and visitors to use, establishing a vegetable garden & chicken coop at the local Pre-School, planter boxes at the High School, Christmas hampers for the needy and presenting the parents of each baby born at the Moruya District Hospital a 'Baby Book' as part of our Literacy Project are just a few examples of how we are helping.
We are able to help our community because this club has a strong sense of community and a hardworking team who raise necessary funds through our catering operations at such events as the Moruya Racecourse, careers market and car show.
